Ah, the age-old beauty contest. The truth is, they’re both stunners in their own right. Quartz is known for its consistency and range of color options, while marble brings a unique, luxurious veining pattern to the table. It’s like comparing apples to oranges, or more accurately, quartz to marble!
Well, it’s a bit of a stretch to say ‘never.’ Granite is indeed incredibly durable and scratch-resistant, but it’s not entirely invincible. Just like a superhero might meet their match, granite could also meet a foe in the form of a diamond or another piece of granite. So, unless you’re regularly chopping diamonds on your countertop, you’re good to go!
While Marble is a pretty cool customer, it’s not the biggest fan of sudden heat. It’s a bit like ice cream on a hot summer day – sudden heat can cause it to react, and not in the most favorable way. So, we suggest using a trivet to protect your beautiful marble countertop.
That’s a bit like asking how often you need to water a cactus. It depends! Typically, every 3-5 years is a good rule of thumb, but this can vary based on usage and the specific type of granite. Just don’t forget about it entirely – your countertop deserves some TLC too!
